Lebak Singka Kingdom
Once upon a time in Lebak Singka there was King named Raja Suna, he brought 2 people of Pangawinan (Pacalikan) descendants, both men and women, the men brought to Cikaret (Cisungsang, Cicarucub) called Dulur Lalaki and given Kemenyan (frankincense) , while being taken to Citorek called Dulur Awewe given the stock Panglay (large turmeric).
Decendants of Pangawinan
Wewengkon Adat Citorek is also called Pangawinan, the life is half modern because the road already exists, electricity and television already exists and some buildings are modern and mostly still original (bamboo house). The language used is Sundanese, most of the people embrace the religion of Islam. They use Islamic calendar for everything and in every time they plant something must read two sentences Shahadah. There are 3 systems in the social life of Wewengkon Adat Citorek. These are State (Jaro / Lurah), Religion (Panghulu), and Karuhun (Kasepuhan /Kaolotan).
Nyawah as livelihood
The livelihood of Citorek people is planting rice (nyawah). Therefore for Citorek people, if they want to have a wife should be able to plant rice. There are certain days Citorek people should not do activities, especially on Friday and Sunday. It means that on Friday they should perform the Friday prayers, and Sundays they honor the national holidays / honor the government.
Tradition
In the past the Citorek / pangawinan people were forbidden to wear black clothes, cloths split in two (some kind of bugis), laken, shoes, skirts. the habit is now no longer valid, but if most women still wear a long cloth (not wearing a skirt).

Every celebration is always accompanied Goong Gede. Goong gede is played 4 times a year that is on Ngaseuk, Mipit, Gegenek and Seren Taun. Goong gede consists of Saron, Kecrek, Kenong, and Kending. Played by approximately five people. Citorek community now has left many traditions such as Neres and Sedekah Bumi has never been done again because the people are modern and do not believe in the beliefs of his ancestors.
